July 8th sees the premiere of my ‘Another Orpheus’ for string orchestra, by the Musicians of All Saints. The title is from a drama by Shelley which he wrote to support the Greek war of independence (in which Byron famously died). ‘Another Orpheus sings again and loves and weeps and dies’.
